Located 25 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, Michelangelo Aspendale Gardens is a great meeting point between the city and the southern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne.    

 

 

Our versatile venue makes us suitable for just about any occasion!  Whether it’s a corporate function or a family occasion you’re organising, Michelangelo has an option that will suit. 

 

 

Our Aspendale Gardens venue, our first, was established in June 2005 by the current owners Renato Chilelli, John Gdanski, Gildo Di Fabio and Fraser Gehrig. 

 

 

The venue was purpose built in an area surrounded by large residential estates and closely located to nearby business and industrial centres. 

 

 

The decor of each Michelangelo restaurant provides guests with a warm and inviting environment where they can enjoy the delights of our large menu. Our menu is broad in its selection and is delivered to our guests as fast as possible whilst still maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality. Combine this with professional and friendly staff and you have a busy Michelangelo restaurant filled with happy guests. 

 

 

The food service area will vary in size from venue to venue. The Aspendale Gardens venue comprises 200 seats indoor, with a further 70 seats in our covered ‘al fresco’ dining area. There is a facility to provide an enclosed sound baffled function room that can accommodate up to 80 guests for a sit down function. On busy nights, when not required for functions, this room can be utilised to extend the restaurant capacity. 

 

 

Each Michelangelo  venue is fully licensed with a moderate sized wine list, incorporating both Australian and International wines. 

 

 

In 2006, Michelangelo won the award in the Leader Business Achiever Awards in the ‘New Business Category’. Michelangelo is also a member of the Restaurant Catering Association of Victoria.
